Granite City Pickling and Warehouse has been pickling steel in Granite City,
IL since 1984. A
majority of our work is for the local steel mill. We process for their customers who
require first class quality and service. We provide the final inspection of the
steel that the mill ships to critical customers like Ford Motor Company, Tower
Automotive, and many others.
We are a “processor only” facility. We do not buy and
sell steel. Many of our customers appreciate that. They know we are not
interested in pirating away their customers and that we will not put our own
steel in front of theirs when it comes to scheduling. We often process coils
within 24 hours after receiving them and it is not unusual to have a truck wait
while we do an emergency run.

We have been QS/ISO certified since 1998 and have not failed or
had any problems with an audit. We are a very quality service conscious
organization. We have one of the best safety records of any one in our industry.
